Darwin 3 is a client - server solution and can be beneficial, if your company is distributed in more then one locations. The Darwin 3 server can be installed on a PC or server and is responsible for the communication to the EDI partner. There is also the possibility to install the server and the clients on a PC. At the moment there are four different Client applications for different work areas: -
Darwin administrator: change of basic configuration and master data -
Darwin orders: handling of incoming orders, preparation of delivery -
Darwin despatches: printout of shipping documents and despatch labels, completion of delivery -
Darwin invoices: handling of incoming self billing invoices and production of (EDI-) invoices
