ODEX/MVS conforms to the ODETTE File Transfer Protocol (OFTP).
ODEX/MVS provides full store-and-forward facilities as part of a corporate, rather than commercial, clearing centre. ODEX/MVS runs as a Started Task, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The scheduling and retrieval of EDI data is done in parallel with the transmission / reception of data.
